System Requirements
This page gives a list of the basic requirements to use Total Enterprise CRM.
Database
The CRM has one master database where all your records are stored. This is typically installed on a central "Server" computer in your office.
Total Enterprise CRM Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008. Depending on how many users you will have, and where they are located you can either use the free "Express" version, or the version included with Small Business Server (Premium Edition), or SQL Server. You should consult your IT Support team, or Tall Emu support.
CRM Desktop
All of the CRM users would have CRM installed on their desktop, and the following specifications are recommended:
- Supported operating systems for the desktop or laptop computer are Windows XP Pro, Windows 7, Windows Vista Business and Vista Ultimate.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 6 or higher must be installed; Internet Explorer 7 is recommended.
- Microsoft Office 2003 or higher is required to make use of MS Word merge.
- Outlook 2003 or above is required to Sync Outlook mail with CRM. Previous versions of Microsoft Outlook are not supported. Outlook Express is not supported
- Minimum memory is 1Gb for a Windows XP computer and 2GB for Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
- If running on a laptop and Syncing with a master database, MS SQL Express 2008 R2 is recommended on desktop computers and laptops.
- Microsoft .NET Framework
Web Access Module
The web access module requires Microsoft Internet Information Server, v6 or above running ASP.NET
