Total Enterprise CRM offers a number of ways to share data in Microsoft Outlook throughout your company. Emails to and from customers and contacts can be made available to others, creating a full communication history (emails, letters, SMS, fax, calls) in the CRM.

Total Enterprise CRM Outlook Add-In

The Outlook Add-in allows you to take email, calendar events and contacts directly from Outlook and copy it into Total Enterprise CRM.

Email messages can be associated with sales opportunities, tasks, projects or other entities in the CRM database, allowing you to easily view all emails that relate to specific sales opportunities. It’s also possible to bulk import emails, including items from the Sent or any other folder.

The Total Enterprise CRM Outlook Add-In requires MS Outlook 2003 or 2007 and works with both standalone Outlook systems and MS Exchange based environments.

Once imported, the email is available for other Total Enterprise CRM users, and looks exactly like the email in Outlook, including attachments. It's now part of the contact history in the same way as phone calls, meetings or any other activity.

MS Outlook and Total Enterprise Synchronisation

Total Enterprise CRM allows quick synchronization of MS Outlook contacts, events and tasks. Information can be transferred to and from Outlook directly from Total Enterprise CRM.

Transfer to and from Outlook and handheld devices

Calendar events and tasks can easily be transferred to and from Microsoft Outlook. Once in Outlook, transfer to your iPhone or other PDA should happen automatically depending on your IT setup.

What about automatic importing of e-mail into the CRM?

When you're talking with customers by email, sometimes they'll send a joke, or a quick "Hey, I'm running 5 minutes late" - or even comments of a personal nature. We decided it would be far better, more efficient (and possibly less embarrassing) to allow users to choose exactly which emails should be synched.
